We confirm your variety, quantity, and address. The next morning, sod is harvested from the grower field in NV, stacked, wrapped, and loaded onto our flatbed. Overnight stage at the cut yard. Pre-dawn departure. Delivery to your Pahrump driveway during your scheduled morning window. Forklift unload. Signed-off and gone.<\/p>\n For peak install weeks \u2014 mid-April through late May and mid-September through mid-November \u2014 we recommend booking 2\u20133 days out. For any other time of year, next-day is the norm.<\/p>\n A Pahrump delivery day is a road trip. For multi-pallet orders we’ll coordinate exact staging with you the day before.<\/p>\n Soil prep should be done 2\u20133 days before your delivery window \u2014 tilled, amended with gypsum if your Pahrump soil runs heavily alkaline (which it typically does), raked to final grade, and lightly moistened the night before install. Because deliveries are consolidated to a single weekly day, plan your prep schedule backwards from Thursday: prep completed by Wednesday evening, install from Thursday AM to Thursday PM.<\/p>\n The universal rules: unwrap the pallet only as you install. Keep unwrapped pieces in the shade if possible. Water every installed section within 30 minutes of laying \u2014 seriously, within 30 minutes, not “later today.” Maintain moist-not-soaked conditions for the first 10\u201314 days, then taper.<\/p>\n Pahrump’s seasonal gotcha is the cold-desert overnight swing.
