Your Pahrump sod is technically one day older than a same-day Vegas Valley drop would be, but still dramatically fresher than anything routed through a California rewholesaler.

The operational flow: order placed by mid-afternoon. We confirm your variety, quantity, and address. The next morning, sod is harvested from the grower field in NV, stacked, wrapped, and loaded onto our flatbed. Overnight stage at the cut yard. Pre-dawn departure. Delivery to your Pahrump driveway during your scheduled morning window. Forklift unload. Signed-off and gone.

For peak install weeks — mid-April through late May and mid-September through mid-November — we recommend booking 2–3 days out. For any other time of year, next-day is the norm.

A Typical Delivery Day in Pahrump

A Pahrump delivery day is a road trip. Wednesday evening at the Vegas cut yard: your pallets are harvested, wrapped, and loaded onto the Thursday Pahrump flatbed alongside every other Pahrump order for the week. Thursday 5 AM the flatbed leaves Vegas via the 160 west out through Red Rock and across the Spring Mountains. The drive is sixty miles and takes about 75 minutes. The Moment Your Sod Arrives

Pahrump installs happen Thursday mornings on our dedicated route. Because deliveries are consolidated to a single weekly day, plan your prep schedule backwards from Thursday: prep completed by Wednesday evening, install from Thursday AM to Thursday PM.

The universal rules: unwrap the pallet only as you install. Keep unwrapped pieces in the shade if possible. Water every installed section within 30 minutes of laying — seriously, within 30 minutes, not “later today.” Maintain moist-not-soaked conditions for the first 10–14 days, then taper.

Seasonal Considerations for Pahrump

Pahrump’s seasonal gotcha is the cold-desert overnight swing. Elevation plus open-basin geography means Pahrump overnight lows in late fall and early spring can drop 15–20°F below the daytime high, and frost at night is common well past when Vegas Valley yards are frost-free.
