Full sun, you want the tightest manicured look: Tifgreen 328 — finer blade, classic golf-course aesthetic.
Mostly shaded side yards or north-facing exposures: Palmetto St. Augustine handles shade far better than any Bermuda.
Older traditional full-sun Bermuda lawn reset: Midiron. Coarser blade, thicker stand, forgiving of mixed soil and kids-and-dogs wear.
